The app now treats these hobby and part-time breweries in the same way as communal breweries, but uses a slightly smaller brown Zoigl star as a category symbol, garnished with a Greek letter μ for micro.
• Corrected the number of permanently closed Zoigl places displayed in the All Zoigl places view when a single category is selected via the search.
• Correction to the creation of PDF files (in-app purchase Export as PDF): the annual calendar is output correctly again.

• Unfortunately, the new year begins with bad news for Zoiglstuben fans, as four Zoiglstuben were closed permanently at the end of last year. Anni and Rudi Loistl are retiring and closing the Zoiglschänke Loistl in Windischeschenbach and the Alter Pfarrhof in Altenstadt. The Gasthof Sörgel in the Prohof district of Sulzbach-Rosenberg with its beautiful beer garden on the orchard meadow was also closed. And in Kemnath, the Houderer-Zoigl has also been closed since the end of November following the death of the innkeeper.
• The club-operated brewery Zeiglhaus Parkstein with adjoining pub has now been added to the app.
• Zoigl dates for Zeiglhaus Parkstein, Brauwerk DoHi, Buchwalder Zoiglstube, Sportheim Poppenreuth, Grenzzoigl, Winkler Zoigl have been added to the in-app purchase Zoiglstuben 2024. The new version 9.4 contains 1202 dates for 50 Zoiglstuben.

Yet another version in preparation for 2024, but it will be the last one in this year,
• The Zoiglstube Windmais of the Schreierbräu microbrewery in Bodenwöhr-Windmais has been added to the app's master data.
• The Zoigl dates of the communal breweries with Real Zoigl q>Zum Roud'n in Windischeschenbach and q>Schwoazhansl-Zoigl in Falkenberg have been added to the app's database.
• Zoigl dates for 18 additional Zoiglstuben have been added to the in-app purchase Zoigltermine 2024. The new version 9.3 contains 1143 dates for 45 Zoiglstuben.

• All Zoigl dates for 2023 are now included in the app's database.
• New brewery Brauwerk DoHi with attached Zoiglpub in Mitterteich included in the app.
• Zoigl dates 2024 added for three more Zoiglstuben in the in-app purchase Zoigl dates 2024: Zoiglstub'n Fichtenschacht in Wiesau, Zum Binnerlindl in Kohlberg and Kommune Prunnhuber in Neuhaus an der Pegnitz. The new version 9.2 of this in-app purchase thus contains 945 dates for 27 Zoiglstuben.

• Fixed a cosmetic error: The opening hours in the Open Zoiglstuben view were not displayed in colour (green or red).

• The Zoiglstube Höllenwerk in Kirchenlamitz, which opened in 2022, has been added to the app's database.
• Due to the upcoming turn of the year, the in-app purchase Zoigl dates 2023 is no longer offered. Instead, all dates for 2023 have been included in the in-app purchase Dates for prior years. A first version of the in-app purchase Zoigl dates 2024 is now available. It only contains a few dates because only a small number of Zoiglstuben have published their dates for the new year so far. As soon as more dates become known, free updates will be released for purchasers of the in-app purchase Zoigl dates 2024.

• The previous widget for the Today screen, which has since been discontinued by Apple, has been replaced by a current widget that can be displayed in different sizes on all screens and, starting with iOS 16.0, is also available in different variants for the lock screen. More details can be found in the detailed help for the app.
• The sorting by opening hours in the view of all open Zoiglstuben has been corrected. The Zoiglstuben that are currently open (with the time from which they are open shown in green) are at the top of the list, those that are still closed follow (with the time from which they are open shown in red), and the Zoiglstuben that are already closed appear at the very end (with the time until which they were open shown in red).
• Zoigl dates in November and December added for Grenz-Zoigl in Ranna and for Zum Posterer in Windischeschenbach. The new version 8.18 of the in-app purchase Zoigltermine 2023 contains 1278 dates for 55 Zoigl places.

• Falkenberg soon will have four Zoiglstuben: With Hafnerkarl another Zoiglstube has been opened with Real Zoigl from the communal brewer (Echter Zoigl vom Kommunbrauer). It had its premiere on 10 September 2023 on the occasion of the second Oberpfälzer Zoigltag, the regular Zoigl dates will be announced soon.
• Added new images for Brauhaus Waldershof, Stefflwirt, Zum Krapfenbauer and Zum Mundl. The in-app purchase Images in the new version 8.6 thus contains 695 pictures for 89 Zoigl places.
• Changed, cancelled and new dates for Grenz-Zoigl, Beim Gutbauern, Kommune Prunnhuber, Zum Falter and Zur Bartmühle incorporated. The new version 8.17 of the in-app purchase Zoigltermine 2023 contains 1269 dates for 55 Zoigl places.
• The help for the different categories of Zoiglorten can be viewed by tapping on the category icon in the info view.
• All buttons are highlighted more clearly with a coloured background.
• The setting "Notifications enabled" by mistake had no effect. This error has been corrected and switching it off now has the desired effect that no notifications are generated when Zoiglstuben are approached.
• The alerts informing about the availability of in-app purchases have been standardised. Some of these alerts have been extended by the possibility of directly displaying an example of the extended functionality of the respective in-app purchase.
• Those who operate their device with a language other than German or English will now receive an alert when starting a new version of the app, informing them that they can switch the language of the app between German (default) and English in the system settings.
• The pronunciation of English-language notifications containing German names of places and Zoiglstuben has been improved. Also the pronunciation of names in German-language notifications is improved—albeit to a lesser extent.
• Adjustments for iOS 17 in the generation of sound files for the notifications when approaching Zoiglstuben.

• A pop-up message now indicates that a new version of the app is available and directly offers to update the app to this version.

Some Zoigl dates of other Zoiglstuben have been removed, Zoigl dates for Zoiglschänke zur Gerechtsamkeit added. The new version 8.12 of the in-app purchase Zoigl dates 2023 contains 1207 dates for 54 Zoigl places.
• The new version 8.3 of the in-app purchase Images contains 639 images for 86 Zoigl places, including three videos.

Correction of a bug when using the in-app purchase "Export as PDF": As of iOS 16 and macOS 13, the maps (overview and detail) in the generated PDF were created significantly too bright.

Correction of a bug in the management of own photos that could lead to a crash of the app under rare circumstances.

• Images for Grandlhof-Zoigl in Krummennaab, Zur Bartmühle in Bärnau and Schloßbrauerei Friedenfels newly added to the in-app purchase Images, more images for Zoigl at Schnapper in Fuchsmühl and to Vinzenz in Parkstein added. The new version 8.2 of the in-app purchase Images contains 637 images for 85 Zoigl places.
• In one of the next versions of the app, support for iOS 13 and iOS 14 will be dropped. From then on, iOS 15.0 will be required. All devices that support iOS 13 and 14 also support iOS 15. All those who still operate their iPhone or iPad with iOS 13 or 14 should switch to iOS 15 if they want to continue to be supplied with current versions of the app.

Corrected an error when purchasing/restoring in-app purchases

• An error in the today widget has been corrected. The widget—in addition to indicating how many Zoigl­stuben are open—now shows again in which cities they are located.
• Master data of Zoiglstuben and Zoigl dates for Zur Bartmühle in Bärnau, Stefflwirt in Wiesau and Surrers Radlhütte in Waldthurn adapted. The new version 8.9 of the in-app purchase Zoigl dates 2023 contains 1173 dates for 53 Zoiglorte.

• In the month view of the in-app purchase Year Calendar, it is now possible to switch to the previous year by tapping the back icon in January and to switch to the next year by tapping the forward icon; in December, provided that appointments for the corresponding year are available (usually available via the free in-app purchase Dates for prior years).
• Since the last version of the App, the in-app purchase Zoigl dates 2023 has been extended by further dates (dates for Gasthof Waldnaabsee in Plößberg and for Zum Gogerer in Floß, dates for second quarter for Grenz-Zoigl in Auerbach), some dates have been corrected (also retrospectively). The current version 8.5 contains 1162 dates for 52 l places.
