En primer lugar, respecto a la función de pausa en caracteres específicos que se ha habilitado recientemente, antes solo se podía configurar en segundos. Ahora es posible hacerlo en incrementos de 0.1 segundos.

Esto fue en respuesta a la solicitud de facilitar la escucha ajustando el tiempo en los signos de puntuación. Gracias por los excelentes comentarios.

Además, he decidido eliminar los anuncios en la versión gratuita. Como resultado, he añadido un contador regresivo para la próxima reproducción gratuita, pero quiero ajustarlo según cómo vayan las cosas.

Primero, hemos implementado finalmente la función de pausar el audio por unos segundos en letras específicas, algo que ha sido muy solicitado durante un tiempo. Después de mucho ensayo y error con varios enfoques de programación, finalmente lo conseguimos.

La motivación para desarrollar esta funcionalidad vino de la demanda de una característica que permitiera hacer una pausa de unos segundos antes de leer la respuesta, después de leer la pregunta, cuando se está estudiando para un examen.

Además, parece que podría ser útil para cosas como hacer que la lectura en voz alta sea más fácil de escuchar al agregar una pausa después de un párrafo o un personaje específico.

Se puede seleccionar desde la pantalla de Configuración => Voz & Velocidad. Esta es una característica de la versión de pago, sin embargo, te invitamos a probarla durante el periodo de prueba gratuito.

Además, ahora es posible cambiar el tamaño del texto directamente desde la pantalla de texto de la aplicación. La capacidad de ajustar un poco el tamaño del texto, tanto más grande como más pequeño, mientras se mira el texto, es extremadamente práctico.

Esta función se puede utilizar desde el botón en la parte superior derecha de la pantalla de texto. Hemos estado soportando cambios en el tamaño del texto del iPhone durante mucho tiempo, pero ahora es posible cambiar el tamaño solo dentro de Voicepaper, sin cambiar el tamaño general en el iPhone.

Hemos traducido Voicepaper, que solo era compatible con inglés y japonés, a 12 idiomas de una sola vez.

Since the iOS 17 update, there have been issues with the voice component becoming heavy and stopping. I've been trying various solutions for this recently.

As a result, in the last update, we implemented a desperate measure to internally segment text to lighten the load.

However, while this did lighten the load, it also created a problem where the text would get cut off every 300 characters because of the segmentation.

So, we've adjusted this to segment every 1000 characters instead, trying to balance lightening the load.

Ideally, the best solution would be fixing the voice engine issues with the iOS 17 update, but until then, we want to try various measures as a workaround.

Ever since iOS 17, I've been having sleepless nights due to heavy audio playback and the occurrence of pause bugs, but I think I've finally found a solution.

At this point, I decided to rewrite the programming for the playback part. After pondering for a few days with a lot of thoughts, I think I've fixed it nicely.

Specifically, I rewrote it to a mechanism that splits and loads text internally. Playback start, double-tap for specified part playback, everything became lighter.

Also, even if you set the import settings to 10,000 characters or so, it won't get heavy anymore, so I think the problem of blog articles being split too much and becoming a hassle to reorder is also gone.

I test it myself every day, but if you find any inconvenience, it would be helpful if you could kindly inform me via Settings => Requests.

PDFs are significant, but I believe image recognition is the key feature lately, so we have made various adjustments to make this more understandable. We plan to update the help section soon.

Finally, we've achieved text extraction from images! You can now capture text from books using your camera, or import text from multiple saved photos all at once.

It's also possible to take screenshots of multiple pages in an e-book and save them directly via the share button. Please note that vertical text support requires iOS 17.

When I want to listen to the e-book I'm reading, I screenshot about 10 pages and listen to them while I'm on the go. It's incredibly convenient.
