Bonjour. Dernièrement, je me lève tôt pour développer.

Cette fois-ci, ce sont de petites améliorations.

- Amélioration de la pause sur des caractères spécifiques
- Suppression des publicités
- Paramètres de voix pour l'hébreu et le vietnamien

Tout d'abord, concernant la fonction de pause sur des caractères spécifiques récemment introduite, elle était auparavant réglable uniquement en secondes. Nous l'avons rendue réglable en dixièmes de seconde.

Cela faisait suite à des demandes pour une écoute plus facile en ajustant le timing sur la ponctuation. Merci pour ces excellents retours.

En outre, j'ai décidé de supprimer les publicités dans la version gratuite. J'ai donc ajouté un compte à rebours jusqu'à la prochaine lecture gratuite, mais je souhaite l'ajuster en fonction de la situation.

De plus, Voicepaper peut lire à haute voix dans toutes les langues sur l'iPhone, mais le réglage de la vitesse de la voix standard se fait via les paramètres audio de Voicepaper. Nous avons maintenant ajouté le support pour l'hébreu et le vietnamien. Si vous souhaitez que nous prenions en charge d'autres langues, faites-le nous savoir.

Cette fois encore, nous offrons un large soutien multilingue.

Nous supportons désormais des langues telles que le néerlandais, le polonais, l'hébreu, le thaï, le vietnamien, l'hindi, l'indonésien, et bien d'autres.

La dernière fois, nous avions ajouté le support de 12 langues en une fois, mais avec cette mise à jour, l'application prend désormais en charge environ 20 langues.

Honnêtement, c'est la première fois dans ma vie que je prends en charge autant de langues. J'espère que les gens du monde entier trouveront cela utile pour leurs études ou leur lecture.

Tout d'abord, nous avons finalement réalisé la fonction permettant de mettre l'audio en pause pendant quelques secondes aux caractères spécifiés, ce qui a été fortement demandé depuis un certain temps. Après beaucoup d'essais et d'erreurs avec différentes approches de programmation, nous avons finalement réussi.

La motivation pour créer cette fonction est venue des demandes d'une fonction qui permet de faire une pause de quelques secondes avant de lire la réponse après avoir lu la question quand on étudie pour un examen.

De plus, elle semble être utile pour des choses comme rendre la lecture à haute voix plus facile à écouter en ajoutant une pause après un paragraphe ou un caractère spécifique.

Vous pouvez choisir cette fonction depuis l'écran Paramètres => Voice & Speed. C'est une fonction pour la version payante ; cependant, nous vous invitons à l'essayer pendant la période d'essai gratuite.

En outre, il est désormais possible de changer la taille du texte directement à partir de l'écran de texte de l'application. La possibilité d'ajuster un peu la taille du texte, que ce soit plus grand ou plus petit, pendant que vous regardez le texte, est très pratique.

Cette fonction est disponible à partir du bouton en haut à droite de l'écran de texte. Nous supportons depuis un certain temps les modifications de la taille du texte de l'iPhone, mais il est maintenant possible de changer la taille uniquement au sein de Voicepaper, sans changer la taille générale sur l'iPhone.

En outre, nous avons rendu Voicepaper, qui était seulement compatible avec l'anglais et le japonais, compatible avec 12 langues en une seule fois.

Non seulement les caractères de l'application, mais aussi les captures d'écran et les descriptions de l'App Store ont été traduits, donc nous espérons que cela deviendra une application que les utilisateurs du monde entier pourront utiliser.

As they are a professional, they offered many suggestions, and from those, I chose a simple one that I liked as the basis for the creation. It was my first experience with this.

Next, the improvement of the issue where the app crashes when it is reopened and played again. This was something that also troubled me, but after testing the fixed version for about a week and not experiencing any crashes, I believe it has significantly improved this time.

In the free version, an ad for the premium version is supposed to show up periodically. However, there was a bug reported where viewing an ad to continue using the app for free wouldn't reset as expected.

I've had trouble reproducing this bug in my own or my friends' environments, but I've made some programming adjustments to prevent this issue from occurring.

With these changes, the problem where the ad display does not allow progress while staying in the free version should be resolved.

I've been struggling with an issue where Voicepaper would crash when reopened after a while, but after extensive research, I believe I have successfully fixed it.

Interestingly, I consulted ChatGPT for various solutions to this crash issue and made corrections. It's indeed very handy.

Also, with the recent update, we've made it possible to convert images into text. I've added descriptions explaining that you can continuously screenshot pages of an e-book and import them directly via the action button.

I hope to fix it as soon as a correction or a better method is found.

Also, splitting the text within the app has made its operation smoother, and now even splitting texts into 10,000 characters is not a problem. Therefore, I've restored the end-of-session sound.

Since the iOS 17 update, there have been issues with the voice component becoming heavy and stopping. I've been trying various solutions for this recently.

As a result, in the last update, we implemented a desperate measure to internally segment text to lighten the load.

However, while this did lighten the load, it also created a problem where the text would get cut off every 300 characters because of the segmentation.

So, we've adjusted this to segment every 1000 characters instead, trying to balance lightening the load.

Ideally, the best solution would be fixing the voice engine issues with the iOS 17 update, but until then, we want to try various measures as a workaround.

This time, it's about measures for the playback part.

Ever since iOS 17, I've been having sleepless nights due to heavy audio playback and the occurrence of pause bugs, but I think I've finally found a solution.

At this point, I decided to rewrite the programming for the playback part. After pondering for a few days with a lot of thoughts, I think I've fixed it nicely.

Specifically, I rewrote it to a mechanism that splits and loads text internally. Playback start, double-tap for specified part playback, everything became lighter.

Also, even if you set the import settings to 10,000 characters or so, it won't get heavy anymore, so I think the problem of blog articles being split too much and becoming a hassle to reorder is also gone.

I test it myself every day, but if you find any inconvenience, it would be helpful if you could kindly inform me via Settings => Requests.

Additionally, we have enabled importing from the iOS Files app and, finally, the much-awaited ability to import PDF files.

PDF files can now be saved from the Files app, Dropbox, and Google Drive.

PDFs are significant, but I believe image recognition is the key feature lately, so we have made various adjustments to make this more understandable. We plan to update the help section soon.

Finally, we've achieved text extraction from images! You can now capture text from books using your camera, or import text from multiple saved photos all at once.

It's also possible to take screenshots of multiple pages in an e-book and save them directly via the share button. Please note that vertical text support requires iOS 17.

When I want to listen to the e-book I'm reading, I screenshot about 10 pages and listen to them while I'm on the go. It's incredibly convenient.

We've also made various minor fixes and adjustments.
