Primeiramente, a funcionalidade recentemente atualizada que permite uma pausa em caracteres específicos só estava disponível em segundos. Agora, tornamos possível configurá-la em décimos de segundo.

Isso foi motivado pelo desejo de ajustar os tempos de escuta em sinais de pontuação, tornando a escuta mais agradável. Obrigado pelo excelente feedback.

A motivação para criar essa função veio dos pedidos para um recurso que pudesse pausar por alguns segundos antes de ler a resposta, após ler a pergunta, ao estudar para um exame.

Além disso, parece que pode ser útil para coisas como tornar a leitura em voz alta mais fácil de se ouvir ao adicionar uma pausa depois de um parágrafo ou um caractere específico.

Você pode escolher esta função na tela de Configurações => Voz & Velocidade. Esta é uma função para a versão paga, porém, por favor experimente-a durante o período de teste gratuito.

Além disso, agora é possível alterar o tamanho do texto diretamente da tela de texto do aplicativo. A capacidade de ajustar o tamanho do texto um pouco menor ou maior, enquanto você está olhando para o texto, é muito útil.

Essa função pode ser usada a partir do botão no canto superior direito da tela de texto. Nós já estávamos suportando mudanças no tamanho do texto no iPhone por algum tempo, mas agora é possível mudar o tamanho apenas dentro do Voicepaper, sem alterar o tamanho geral no iPhone.

With these changes, the problem where the ad display does not allow progress while staying in the free version should be resolved.

Since the iOS 17 update, there have been issues with the voice component becoming heavy and stopping. I've been trying various solutions for this recently.

As a result, in the last update, we implemented a desperate measure to internally segment text to lighten the load.

However, while this did lighten the load, it also created a problem where the text would get cut off every 300 characters because of the segmentation.

So, we've adjusted this to segment every 1000 characters instead, trying to balance lightening the load.

Ideally, the best solution would be fixing the voice engine issues with the iOS 17 update, but until then, we want to try various measures as a workaround.

Ever since iOS 17, I've been having sleepless nights due to heavy audio playback and the occurrence of pause bugs, but I think I've finally found a solution.

At this point, I decided to rewrite the programming for the playback part. After pondering for a few days with a lot of thoughts, I think I've fixed it nicely.

Specifically, I rewrote it to a mechanism that splits and loads text internally. Playback start, double-tap for specified part playback, everything became lighter.

Also, even if you set the import settings to 10,000 characters or so, it won't get heavy anymore, so I think the problem of blog articles being split too much and becoming a hassle to reorder is also gone.

I test it myself every day, but if you find any inconvenience, it would be helpful if you could kindly inform me via Settings => Requests.

PDF files can now be saved from the Files app, Dropbox, and Google Drive.

PDFs are significant, but I believe image recognition is the key feature lately, so we have made various adjustments to make this more understandable. We plan to update the help section soon.

Finally, we've achieved text extraction from images! You can now capture text from books using your camera, or import text from multiple saved photos all at once.

It's also possible to take screenshots of multiple pages in an e-book and save them directly via the share button. Please note that vertical text support requires iOS 17.

When I want to listen to the e-book I'm reading, I screenshot about 10 pages and listen to them while I'm on the go. It's incredibly convenient.
