Thachin Water Quality เป็น Mobile Application ที่ถูกพัฒนาขึ้นโดย สำนักงานสิ่งแวดล้อมภาคที่ 5 ในปีงบประมาณ 2558 เพื่อประชาสัมพันธ์ข้อมูลคุณภาพน้ำแม่น้ำท่าจีนและคลองสาขาซึ่งเป็นข้อมูลจากการตรวจวัดคุณภาพน้ำโดยสำนักงานฯ และสถานีตรวจวัดคุณภาพน้ำแบบอัตโนมัติที่ตั้งอยู่ริมแม่น้ำท่าจีน เผยแพร่ต่อสาธารณชนผ่านเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต โดยนำเสนอข้อมูลในรูปแบบสัญลักษณ์ของปลาเสือตอ(Mascot) ชื่อ “ท่าจีน” รวมทั้งในรูปแบบข้อมูลตัวเลข เพื่อสื่อสารความรู้และเพื่อให้ง่ายต่อความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับค่าคุณภาพน้ำของแม่น้ำท่าจีนและคลองสาขา นอกจากนี้ยังแสดงผลค่าคุณภาพน้ำทะเลชายฝั่งในพื้นที่ดูแลรับผิดชอบของสำนักงานฯ เผยแพร่ต่อสาธารณชนด้วย

Thachin Water Quality(TWQ.) is the Mobile Application which was developed by Regional Environmental Office 5(REO5) in 2015 B.C. TWQ. mainly propose Thachin River Quality Data(TRQD.) both from officer analyzation(include 5 tributary canals water quality) and from automatic water quality analyzers to citizen publication through internet network. Also TWQ. present TRQD. by the fish mascot, Thachin, and numeric data for better knowledge about Thachin River and 5 tributary canals water quality. Furthermore, TWQ. propose Coastal Marine Water Quality Data of REO5 responsibility area.
