• Enhanced the run-tracking algorithm for more accurate recordings
• The paywall has been redesigned and now offers multiple choices
• All graphs from the results screen can now be exported
• Once you finish a run, a new beautiful design awaits you, with the option to share your result with a tap
• A sound is played when the run is finished, as well as when the run is ready to start
• The app will now check for issues with location services (such as location services turned off) and inform you if anything needs you attention

Improvements in this version:
• the registration number field has been moved to the Preferences screen but can be toggled back if desired,
• custom runs will now:
•• remember last entered speeds,
•• restart automatically if speed gets below the start speed,
•• say 'Ready!' once they are ready to start and then will wait for you to accelerate.

• there is now an option to enable 'Enhanced start detection'; this makes use of the accelerometer to detect when a run has started but with the GPS inside of the iPhone being so precise already, this mode will benefit only users who are stationary and receive speed updates (for example, around tall buildings when the GPS has trouble pointing to a precise location and moves around);
• buttons inside the app will now perform the expected actions (changing modes will stop a run, the start and stop buttons cannot be enabled both at once and so on);
• various other bug fixes and improvements.

We'd like to remind you that the price for the PRO benefits (including Custom runs) is guaranteed until the 15th of November and we plan an increase in price after that date. So if you'd like to receive the PRO benefits, please consider buying the In-App Purchase before that date.

Introducing fully customizable tracking! There is now an option to select your starting and ending speeds, and the app will track your acceleration between the set speeds. We worked really hard to bring this feature, and it is available exclusively for our PRO customers.

In this update, we've improved the logic for the algorithm that decides when a run can start, so the app should be more reliable!

We also fixed a bug that was clipping some of the content of the Timer tab on some devices.

Car Timer has a new mode that will track a 0-400m or 1/4 mile run, just as promised! We also added texts with the units used on the new Speedometer and beautiful new colors to the text that shows the status of the timer. And on top of that, we ensured that the app works perfectly on the new iOS 14!

We wanted to release this update a lot sooner for you, but we found issues in the logic handling the different possible modes and we had to rewrite the logic handling these modes and when a run can/cannot start. Don't worry, we've tested everything out and it should work just fine now.

Car Timer now has a new, beautifully designed Speedometer that you can use when timing your car's acceleration. 

We also performed other improvements under the hood, and we are getting ready to launch features such as Push Notifications. On the right side of this speedometer, we plan to display your acceleration and we are already testing an implementation of this but it is not yet ready for release. Also, we plan to give you the option to time the car up to a speed that you want (e.g. 0-150km/h) and give several other options such as timing a 1/4 mile run.
