With this version we implement the previously announced change of the Teamplace storage sizes and life time. New teamplaces are now unlimited in time, but limited in the amount of memory. The MyPlace has been migrated to a Teamplace and is no longer available.
To make photo and video uploads faster, they can now be automatically compressed. The feature can be turned on and off in the settings for all future uploads.

Now it works:
Moving files from the iPhone/iPad to a Teamplace is no longer a problem. Some entries in the activity stream could not have been opened. We have also solved this problem. Logging in and registering with Google on older iOS versions will also work again.

Photos you've taken in the high quality format HEIC, are now always imported as JPEG into a Teamplace. This is how we keep the highest level of compatibility to all operating systems on whch we a re offering Teamplace.
Management is even easier. Now you can rename and delete a Teamplace directly via the app.
The option to share a Teamplace via a link can now also be activated and deactivated in the app.
The roles of the participants in a Teamplace can be changed by the owner directly in the app and persons can be removed from the participant list.

Here’s what we’ve improved for you:
The menu at the bottom of the file preview is now identical to the menu below the files. So you can now also save images directly from the file preview into your Files app.
When creating folders, a name for the new folder is now suggested directly. That makes it easier to create folders and also produces fewer folders with empty names. Additionally, the superfluous error message when opening the dialog is no longer displayed.
If deleting has not been authorized, a message recommends contacting the owner or one of the hosts of the Teamplace to have the user role changed.
When renaming files and folders, there are no longer any unnecessary error messages displayed at the start.
When images are uploaded from the Photos app, the complete timestamp will now be displayed.
Now this is working:
Previously, after images were shared from the open file preview, the preview of the image disappeared. We have fixed that, so that now the image is still visible after sharing the file.
Accessing Teamplace using the Files App was not possible on iOS 11. We also fixed that, so that other apps can import files again using Teamplace within the Files App.
