Take control of your digestive health.
The Owlstone app and device (a collaboration with FoodMarble) allows you to learn more about the way your body reacts to the foods you eat. You can use this app on its own to log your diet and track your digestive symptoms throughout the day. If you pair the app with your breath analysis device you’ll also be able to track your gut fermentation throughout the day.
TRACK YOUR FERMENTATION LEVELS. There are billions of micro organisms living in your intestines in what is known as your gut microbiome. They digest the food you eat in a process called fermentation, giving out hydrogen and methane gas as they do. Fermentation is a normal part of health digestion, but symptoms such as bloating, cramping, diarrhea and constipation can result from when something goes wrong.
Hydrogen and methane both exist your body in your breath. By connecting to your breath analysis device, you can monitor the hydrogen and methane levels throughout the day. Taking a breath test after eating certain foods could help you see if you're not fully digesting that food.
