If you live alone and want the reassurance of someone checking in, Snug is for you. It's a free daily check-in service for people living alone.
Every morning, Snug checks in on you at your selected time. When you check in by pressing the big green check mark, you will receive a quote of the day. Your emergency contacts can optionally be notified, at your and their discretion, that you have successfully checked in.
If you don't check in by your selected daily time, a Snug dispatcher will call to check on you. If you still don't respond, your emergency contacts will be alerted and then emergency services will be called for a wellness check.
If you have a fall or an emergency, you can use Snug to call your personal dispatcher (on dispatch plan).
Snug is a way for anyone living alone to feel peace of mind. Think of it like a modern Medical Alert or Life Alert that is designed to be friendly, positive, and proactive.

I have two updates. One big, one small.
First, a pilot group of you can now get multiple check-ins per day! Morning, afternoon, and night. It will be available broadly later in July.
Second, vacation mode is now easier to use. Safe travels!

First, you can now check in via an Apple Watch and through notifications! When a notification comes in, just press on it and you can check in. Of course you can still check in directly in the app.
One more, you will get a vibration when you check in just to make it more clear that you successfully checked in.
Now, to help you avoid any missed check-ins, my app icon now updates with a red badge if you have a pending check in.

I've gotten some upgrades and been fixed up. Snug customers with the personal dispatcher plan can now use the Call for Help functionality again.
A mistake in the monthly price that was sometimes shown is fixed - thank you for those of you who reported the issue.

Hello! I've been updated with everyone's most requested feature: calling your dispatcher for help. For those of you on the dispatch plan, you can now press 'Call for Help' at any time in the day and I'll connect you with your personal Snug dispatcher.
I also became easier to use in this update. Your quote of the day will stay in place all day, you can change your address, and it's easier to set vacation mode.
