About Stop OD NYC
Naloxone is a medication that reverses overdoses from opioids such as heroin and prescription painkillers. New Yorkers can get this life-saving medication without prescription at certain community-based organizations and participating pharmacies including Duane Reade, Walgreens, Rite Aid and CVS. This app contains:

• Stop OD NYC has a new look! Our redesign makes it easier to learn about opioids and overdose prevention, and how to report use of naloxone.
• New information on fentanyl, a very potent illicitly manufactured opioid that's driving an increase in overdose deaths
• Updated lists of community programs and pharmacies where naloxone is available
• Worried about someone who takes drugs? Learn more about opioids, how to recognize and respond to an overdose, and save a life with naloxone.
• It's anonymous. Use the "I used my naloxone" screen to anonymously report use of naloxone, and find out where you can get a replacement kit. We do not collect any personally identifying information.
