About Stop OD NYC

Naloxone is a medication that reverses overdoses from opioids such as heroin and prescription painkillers. New Yorkers can get this life-saving medication without prescription at certain community-based organizations and participating pharmacies including Duane Reade, Walgreens, Rite Aid and CVS. This app contains:
- information about Naloxone
- interactive features to learn the four Naloxone applications
- video content that will serve as training materials
- news/curated content around Naloxone
- push alerts in order to send notifications to app users
- FAQs or tips for how to manage emergencies
- legal protection for you and the overdose victim

• Worried about someone who takes drugs? Learn more about opioids, how to recognize and respond to an overdose, and save a life with naloxone.
• It's anonymous. Use the "I used my naloxone" screen to anonymously report use of naloxone, and find out where you can get a replacement kit. We do not collect any personally identifying information.
• Stop OD NYC app is FREE and available for download for iOS and Android phones in English and Spanish.
