食品衛生安全為現今國家發展之首重目標，為提昇臺中市消費環境品質，並有效控管及促進業者改善食品衛生及用餐環境，臺中市政府推出「樂活臺中食安篇APP」，將「食品安全」、「建築安全」、「消防安全」等三大面向做資訊整合及呈現，讓市民能隨時掌握用餐環境安全、退費事件處理方式及查詢相關消費即時訊息等好用功能

本系統提供6大類，共計30餘項功能

一.首頁
提供重點與即時訊息，隨時掌握最新消息。

二.樂活學堂
食品、建築、消防及其他相關等分類問答集，並針對各分類提供相關文章資訊

三.樂活地圖
設有附近區域及地圖、列表三種呈現方式，並提供商家資訊及稽查結果、記錄，亦可針對商家進行評分及通報歇業。

四.活動訊息
提供最新活動訊息及消費資訊等。

五.重大訊息
彙整食安相關資訊及退費商品、地點，並提供條碼掃描功能。

六.系統管理
彙整系統資訊並提供推播設定及使用者意見回饋等功能。
