Wow! The launch of my latest game has been FABULOUS! You guys have written so many wonderful things on Facebook and in e-mails about how you’re loving the game. My team has been reading all of your feedback and they've been working really hard to fix the things that weren’t quite right, and make the game even better! (I love my team!)
Today, I'm super proud to announce our first update!
The big stuff…
· Carl, that sneaky prankster mouse, somehow got his paws on some invisible ink for all the Chinese text in the game! My team has gone back in and used regular ink so now my Chinese fans should be able to see everything again.
· The endless levels are really popular! So popular, in fact, that some of you were experiencing crashes with the Global Leaderboards… that’s also fixed! Now go get back to beating your friends' high scores! ;)
· I love my global fans and have made sure my team fixed a ton little issues with game text, screens and buttons for all languages.
· Customers in the last level of the game were just too easy-going and would wait around forever and never get angry. Maybe it’s because they heard I had been in jail?? ;) I know I’m scary, but this made the level a little too easy. My team managed to convince them I wouldn’t try to strangle them if they got upset, so they will act a bit more normally now.
All the other stuff…
· The event bar in Chapter 2, Challenge 1 now correctly fills & empties fully. Whew! Kitty was getting exhausted!
· Music should now correctly play in all levels. No more eerie silence (unless you turn off the music yourself!) ;)
· Poor Jordan was heartbroken that his trophy didn’t seem to count! My team made sure the “Jordan Smith” trophy would be correctly added to the trophy count.
· My team made me look even BETTER on tablets by improving the image compression & optimization! Sharp!
· We all love hint arrows… but sometimes things got a bit out of hand and too many showed up at once. My team has removed some of those extra arrows.
· Emily no longer ends up under the bar in Chapter 4… It’s okay, sis, we’ll sweep up the mess later! ;)
· Food should no longer go bad when you've purchased the store upgrade in Chapter 2 to prevent decay. *shudder* Nothing I hate more than science experiments…
· There’s nothing more annoying to be asked to Connect to Facebook when you already are, am I right? Well, now the Facebook Connect button correctly shows "Log Out" when you're connected.
· The leaderboard now centers on your name, instead of going all the way to the #1 position every time so you can easily see exactly where you rank! Of course, if you’re ranked #1, that wasn’t a problem anyway! :D
