About Hima chan/ A story of a sunflower in Kadonowaki

Here is a heart warming and bonding story between a seed of sunflower and a sufferer citizen, which was really happened in Town Kadonowaki, Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture that was the worst-devastated area by the Great East Japan Earthquake. This picture book illustrates what happened in affected area on the day of the earthquake, and also tells from the point of view from a sunflower seed that how the citizens being survived and suffered kept their hope and stood up and started to walk to rebuild their hometown.

Art-school students in Tokyo voluntarily drew these illustrations with this story and Japanese contents visual supplier, imagenavi, provided free development of this application. This application was produced with voluntary support by individuals and groups, which are being involved in this project.
