About JGSDF PublicInformation Center
"The Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) Public Relations Center Rikkun Land” is the JGSDF's only large-scale public relations facility, and was established in 2002 under the concept of "See, touch, and feel" to provide visitors with a broad image of the JGSDF in a continuous and systematic manner.
In the museum, visitors can learn about the JGSDF's organization, missions, roles, and activities to date, see tanks and other large equipment up close, and experience a simulated ride in a tank or amphibious vehicle using a flight simulator and VR goggles.
The site also introduces the Army Preparatory Academy, materials related to the former military, Asaka Garrison, and the history of the local area.
