About Mindset app
Feeling stressed?
Mindset is built to help you learn to manage stress. It recommends exercises that you can do to learn to cope with the emotional rollercoaster that is your life. Exercises can be as simple as a 30-second breathing exercise, or more involved like a 20-minute meditation. We roll out new content for you, so there's always something different to try. The exercises in Mindset are based on cognitive therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction.
For optimal benefit, pair Mindset with a heart rate monitor (currently supporting Mio and Polar). Mindset uses patterns in heart rate to measure stress. It will notify you when you're stressed so you can become more aware of your physiological fight-or-flight. The app can also tell you how successful you were in your exercises by measuring reduction in stress.
Log into the Mindset web portal (mindset-app.com/dashboard) to see where you frequently experiencing stress. We're building more insights based on usage and physiology.
Whether you have a couple minutes a day to de-stress or want to become a guru of awareness, Mindset has an exercise for you. This app will help you stress less so you can be more.
Disclaimer: Mindset records the GPS location of stress events. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
