My Fuel Pal

My Fuel Pal links the calories generated through movement on your wrist worn activity bands (for example, a Fuel Band) and converts the figures to actual calories you can claim on fitness / diet apps, for example, My Fitness Pal. This means you no longer miss out on claiming calories that you have burned during the day! My Fuel Pal calculates the calories you are entitled to claim above your lifestyle calories already entered into your fitness / diet app, making not only every work out, but also every movement count. 

The science:
Everybody has a unique BMR, (this is your base metabolic rate) in plain English the amount of calories your body needs of you lay in bed. This is based on a combination of your height, weight, age, sex and weight

This app will calculate your BMR, it then takes into account your extra daily calories allowed by how active you are. (Sedentary, lightly active, moderately active, very active or extra active). We refer to these as lifestyle calories.

Now every person is different in the things we do everyday. There is no way to put everybody in the world to these five categories… until the day you purchased your fitness band!

Well here's the good news! A fitness band such as the Fuel band is specific to your individual and personal movement.  So at the end of each day simply enter the calories displayed on your fuel band’s display into this app. My Fuel Pal will then calculate the extra calories you can add into your my fitness / diet app such as My Fitness Pal. Thus making the fuel band and fitness / diet apps such as My Fitness Pal accurate, precise and individual to you - without any missing data!
