About Skipping Flow

SKIPPING, Lifeflow:
Noted in human history as our beloved and lasting game, Skipping (Jumprope) is presented here in a refresh. With the hope to help players or trainers understand the bio-physical rhythm when at play, to not only improve the play or stamina but also to facilitate the dive into the inner self. Are you ready to witness what your speed, intensity does to your heart rate, hydration, respiration, temperature and more?

This app works with the Smart Handle by Lifeflow. The Smart Handle is a device that stores the data when you skip and syncs it with this app when connected.
SKIPPING, Lifeflow facilitate the performance understanding with the following features:

Intensity:
Intensity refers to the rate at which the activity is being performed or the magnitude of the effort required to perform an activity.

Heart Rate:
Once the performance is finished you can check what was the average heart beats per minute (bpm) while you were performing. It also shows what was the highest and lowest point in your performance. Our heart is pivotal to not only our existence but also an innate expression of overall health. It is valuable to track its health.

Calories:
It shows the amount of calories you burnt during the performance, which can help you to understand and modulate your metabolic rate. It would help you increase or decrease the burn based on your health and performance need.

Body (hand) Temperature:
It displays the average temperature of your hand while you were performing the activity along with the high and low variation.

Hydration:
This allows you to monitor the water level in your body. Please keep in mind that different tissues in your body contain different amounts of water. Fluid needs vary from person to person, activity to activity. Maintaining optimal hydration is vital for maximizing physical and cognitive performance.

Oxygen Consumption:
This measures the maximum rate of oxygen consumption during incremental intensity exercises. Maximal oxygen consumption reflects the cardiorespiratory fitness of an individual and is an important determinant of their endurance capacity during prolonged exercise.

UV Sensor:
This helps detect the intensity of incident ultraviolet (UV) radiation. This form of electromagnetic radiation has shorter wavelengths than visible radiation. It helps you to understand the UV level while performing outdoors.

An integrated view of all of the above health parameters can reveal the deeper insight into your health and performance – unfolding the subliminal story about your wellbeing, your innate rhythm, your life’s flow.

How it works:
With this app, you will be able to witness the details about your performance and the data from all sensors in visual pattern as well as numbers. Each performance is stored at ‘All Performance’ and can be revisited when in need to understand history or spot & share your best performance with your friends or social network. You can share your performance in not only visual-numerical scorecards but also in the video format if you choose to capture it as such. Yes, each performance can be simply captured with a timer or with ‘Capture Video’ feature which requires the camera to be turned on. For accuracy of the data capture, this app needs you to share and maintain your profile (with basic information e.g. name, height, weight, age etc.) You will be able to access your profile under ‘Settings’. Settings for performance sharing as well as Smart Handle paring can be viewed or updated here as well. We have tried to keep the interface simple and intuitive and look forward to evolving it with you.

We hope you will enjoy! We look forward to your participation and feedback. Thank you!
