- fixed a bug that caused the app to crash when tapping on "Free Text" on the edit screen for "Top / Bottom" style memes

This update fixes the following three bugs:

1) Changing the font size or bar height on STYLE 1 videos caused a black line to appear on saved videos
2) With some video meme templates the app froze on the "Save" screen and endlessly showed the loading spinner animation
3) After try to re-adjust the bar height the slider, it always jumped back to the default height size

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to some of our users by these bugs, especially the first one!

In case you missed the huge previous update (4.1), which was the biggest the app has gotten, here are the key points of it:

With a complete re-design, tons of new features and bug fixes, this is by far the biggest update to Video Meme Maker thus far!

We listened to your feedback and made the changes you requested!

First of all we added the possibility to save your video memes/social media posts or ads INSIDE the app, so you can now easily re-edit all of your videos. No longer will you have to start all over from scratch if you just want to make minor color changes or fix little mistakes you might not have noticed at first after you just spent 10 minutes crafting your perfect video and typing out all the subtitles. All your videos will now be saved inside the app once you save them to your camera roll! Also you can simply duplicate your videos, so if you have e.g. an Instagram page with motivational business video posts, you can now easily keep the same style (text, watermark, logo sizes and positions etc.) across all your videos by duplicating the video and then switching out only the title and video of your post.

Another often asked for feature we added is the ability to add your own image on top of all videos, meaning you can now add your own logo, adjust its position, angle and size.

When it comes to adding subtitles we also made the much needed improvement of saving the style of the subtitle text you just added and automatically re-apply it to the next subtitle text section. Meaning if you start writing subtitles using the “Times New Roman” font, font size 12 and a certain blue color, these exact attributes will be added automatically to the next subtitle section. Before the update you had to remember these attributes and add them individually to each new section. This will make it much easier for you to add a lot of subtitle text and will save you tons of time, so you can focus on writing out the subtitles / closed caption text!

On top of that we added an entire new additional meme maker app section to this app (the main reason why this update took much much longer than expected, by the way), that allows you to create video, image and even text memes/posts in the famous Instagram- / Twitter-like meme style. You can start from scratch or choose from over 300 meme templates, that you can use right away or adjust to your personal liking. Perfect if you have your own meme page on IG or simply want to make a funny meme to share with your friends on Whatsapp!

Regarding pricing we also made drastic changes, since there seemed to be a lot of confusion. Instead of having multiple different In-App Purchases, you can now unlock all features at once with a single upgrade to “PRO”. Also now whenever there is a PRO feature you will see it in the header bar of the screen, so you know which feature is PRO and which isn’t. Don’t worry, PRO features are not locked. Unlike other apps we don’t make you buy the “cat in the sack”, so you will still have the possibility to fully use and try out all PRO features without upgrading. Only if you decide that you actually like them you may upgrade, and even then we now offer a free 3-day trial, that you can cancel anytime. Yes, you read that right, you can actually unlock all PRO features for free for 3 days and only pay if you want to continue using them (see exact legal terms inside the app). We hope this clears up a lot of confusion, that we are very sorry about!

Huge update! We fixed a bunch of issues and added 3 new features:

1) You can now add subtitles to your videos and do the following adjustments:
- change font
- customise font size
- change font color

2) You can add progress bars to your videos now and do the following adjustments:
- change position
- change thickness
- change color

3) You can now replace the video directly on the Edit screen without having to start editing your entire video from scratch. Perfect if you want to create multiple videos with your branding one after the other! Simply go back from the Save screen to the Edit screen and replace the video with a new one.

This update includes the following:

1. Fix of a bug, where the video would turn black on the end screen.
2. The second bug we fixed was that the loading spinner on the end screen would sometimes spin indicating that it is exporting the video, but then it would stop and the video would not actually be saved to the user’s camera roll. Now all types of videos will be saved successfully!
3. We doubled the speed of exporting (meaning: saving) videos
4. We added more than 100 new colors to the edit screen. So both the background as well your fonts can now even be more colorful!
5. We fixed another small inconvenience for our users where the watermark text sometimes became a bit more blurry than would be ideal. Now it is perfectly sharp in all dimensions!
6. We added a new spinner loading animation to the end screen, so you know exactly how far the export and saving process has come
7. Your watermark is now much easier to position and scale thanks to the new „0° feature“ and some other changes we made

8. Fix of a bug, that would add a grey or green horizontal line to at the bottom of some videos

Version 2.0 is here! Now you can add your social Media Tags like your Instagram, Snapchat or Youtube Channel to the end of your Video Meme and they will beautifully slide into the screen.
