About Sodium Counter and Tracker

It's easy to consume too much sodium (salt), resulting in high blood pressure (complications include heart attack, stroke, heart failure and chronic kidney disease) and an increased risk of osteoporosis and stomach cancer. Use this app to lower your intake and lower your risk of these diseases.
Set your target daily sodium intake based on the information provided in the app from the USDA and US HHS Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2020-2025 or as advised by your healthcare provider. You can change this target at any time.
Record the foods/beverages and amounts you eat using the barcode scanner, dictation, favoriting foods, or search and using the serving sizes provided, which can be changed at any time. Your progress towards your target daily intake will be visible immediately in real-time.
You can also view your progress over time on the Month view dashboard, and export food diaries and sodium intake into a spreadsheet for your own information or to share with healthcare providers.
Synchronize the app with other First Line Medical Communications Ltd apps to share recorded food intake.
Apple's HealthKit functionality is integrated in the app's user interface so you can share data with Apple's Health app.
The app’s 328-item curated food and beverage database shows all 312 plant-based foods in green type to help users consume the 30+ different types of plants per week recommended by experts for a healthy gut microbiome.
The app also provides users with the ability to add their own foods and recipes, and offers nutritional information through the Info tab.
